"I graduated from Sacramento State in 2008 with my MA in English with an emphasis in composition. This means I am trained in the latest teaching techniques and materials for college level writing. Over my six years in school, I have taught and tutored at all levels of English reading and writing education:undergraduate, graduate,K-12, adult literacy,and community college. I know that English students have a wide variety of reading and writing skills as they enter into such as the particular styles of writing essays in expository(description and explanation), argumentative/persuasive, research(with study and research skills), and criticism (discussing your thoughts or particular critiques of readings.

Through working with the student, I can determine the level of English instruction from rudimentary to advanced reading and writing skills.
