"I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2021 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Chemistry, earning a 3.5 cumulative GPA. With a strong background in science and math, I excelled in rigorous courses such as organic chemistry, earning A’s in both semesters. Because of my high performance in the subject, I was selected to be a peer mentor and tutor students in Organic Chemistry II. I also scored in the top percentile on the Dental Admission Test (DAT), earning a 24 Academic Average and a 24 Total Science score. My individual section scores include a 30 in Organic Chemistry, 25 in Biology, 26 in Reading Comprehension, 22 in General Chemistry, 19 in Quantitative Reasoning, and 19 in Perceptual Ability. I have been accepted into dental school and will be attending in the fall of 2025.
As a tutor, I strive to make challenging concepts more approachable by breaking them down in a way that fits each student’s learning style. I emphasize problem-solving strategies, test-taking techniques, and conceptual understanding to help students build confidence in their abilities. Whether you are preparing for the DAT, struggling with organic chemistry, or looking to strengthen your foundation in science, I am here to support you in reaching your goals. My goal is not only to help students improve their scores but also to develop critical thinking skills that will serve them beyond the classroom." less...
