"I am Currently pursuing Human Biology B.S degree at the University of Texas at Austin on a pre-medical track. I have recently taken the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) where it tested my knowledge in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Psychology and Sociology.
I have been a learning assistant for the general chemistry department where I taught difficult concepts to college students in the class. I have also tutored for 2 years in High School teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and AP Chemistry.
I have achieved the letter grade A in Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, General Biology, and Biochemistry all at a collegiate level. I have also achieved University Honors every semester I have taken at the University of Texas at Austin.
My method of teaching changes from student to student as I like to figure out the best way to teach to the student so that they can understand and grasp the concept. I usually like to teach with examples and then give practice problems to see at what part of the process I can help the student.
My goal as a tutor is for me to get the student to the point where they no longer need a tutor and have sufficient mastery in the subject." less...
