"For the last thirteen years, I have been working as an adjunct instructor in the area of developmental mathematics at Houston Community College System (HCCS) and Lone Star College (Fairbanks Center). I teach all levels of the developmental math classes. I enjoy working in this environment, because the student population is rather diverse. Whether the students are young or old, I seem to relate well with them. Most of the students who come in at this level simply hate math or else they fear it. I enjoy the process of helping them see the simplicity of math by stressing the rules.
