"Hi, I'm Samali! I am an undergraduate at Emory University on the pre-medical track, double majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and Psychology with a focus on Child Development.

I have been tutoring since I was in middle school, starting with being a TA for one of my elementary school teachers, and progressing as a high-school student to tutor in all areas of math up to Pre-calculus, and science subjects including Biology and Chemistry. I have done paid tutoring, tutoring for course credit, and participated as a volunteer tutor. Previously, I was a Committee Member and Mentor in Emory University's Committee Science Health and Diversity Program funded by Winship Cancer Institute, where our program guides middle school students in areas of science, math, and getting involved in related interests.

Although my past official experiences are majority STEM, I am a strong writer and truly enjoy helping students find their own passions and strength in writing as well. These skills can be vital in application development and resume and cover letter building. As a college student now, I actively review high school students College Applications and Essays, finding the core details in these vital essay components that can make the applicant shine if emphasized. I focus on teaching as I edit essays, illuminating key ideas and themes that can carry into students other works as well.
