"I work as a preschool teacher during the school year and am looking for additional work during summers when My preschool class is not in session. I have nearly ten years experience working in the field of early education, with children from birth through age eight. I also have two children of my own. I have previous experience working as a math tutor for college age students.

I have a Bachelor's degree in ECE, as well as an infant specialist certificate. I currently hold a conditional Pre K teaching certificate and will soon be officially certified.

I have an elementary aged daughter who is in the process of receiving a learning disability diagnosis. During this process, and previously, I have worked with my daughter to overcome obstacles with learning. Homework is a struggle for her and we have worked hard to implement strategies that help her to be as successful as possible, especially in the subject areas that are more difficult for her. This experience as a parent gives me a unique perspective to assist other elementary aged children who may be facing similar obstacles, whether with a diagnosed disability or not.
