"Hi, my name is Chaunise. I have a bachelor's in Mathematics and a master's in Adolescent Education. I was previously certified to teach math for grades k-12. I have tutored professionally as well as privately for both male and female students of all ages and personalities.

I love math immensely, but I understand that not all students feel the same and that quite a few students (and lots of people in general) cringe at just the thought of it. I don't expect my students to be as excited about math as I am, but simply to try and have fun with it! My goal is for them to appreciate the vast ways that math enhances our everyday lives and to reach a point where they have a solid enough command of it that they don't have to fear math, and can instead use it to their benefit.

I am available for any students who may want some one-on-one tutoring to help pass summer school, get a head start on the upcoming school year, study for the math portion of a standardized test, or get some guided practice in a math course they are currently taking." less...
