"I am currently majoring in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics with a minor in mathematics at the University of South Florida. I am currently a senior and I work with both the Mathematics and Statistics Department and the Athletics Department at the University. I specialize in tutoring math at all levels, as well as Spanish. I've tutored student from all ages and do my best to tailor the session to their specific needs.

The tutoring session generally involves going over assigned homework or quizzes, as well as creating new problems to test the student's ability in the subject. I believe that through consistency and perseverance no subject is impossible to master. What enjoy the most about tutoring is that point where the student is able to solve problems on their own and become a more independent individual. Furthermore, I believe tutoring is about helping the student, not doing the work for them.

I've had over 5 years of experience tutoring math. Aside from this, I work as a teacher assistant at the University of South Florida teaching Calculus I. I am CRLA certified and have aced every single math course I've taken. I believe I understand the student's needs as I am also a student. Also I tailor my lessons to the needs every individual has and try to go at their pace. I have experience grading and creating activities, so I understand what is expected from the student.

I am native Spanish speaker. I lived in Colombia for over 18 years and I am fully able to explain grammar rules, syntaxis, and reading comprehension. Aside from this, I enjoy practicing conversational skills with my students and allowing them to reach proficiency in the language.
