My teaching experience includes positions at the University of Texas at Tyler, East Texas Baptist University, Mississippi State University, Mississippi State University - Meridian, University of West Alabama and East Mississippi Community College. Subjects taught include every undergraduate accounting course, plus Principles of Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, and other general business courses.

I like to take existing knowledge and experiences in the student's life that can be related to the subject of the course, and show them how that experience could be expressed or translated to accounting terms and concepts so that the student gains a true understanding of the topic, and can then use that understanding to complete the academic course and also apply that understanding to the student's future career work.
