"I was born in Taiwan and moved to Houston when I was in the 11th grade. I am proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in both simplified Chinese characters and traditional Chinese characters. I have spent over five years studying Chinese culture and language as an undergraduate and graduate student.

I first earned a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies. Then, I completed a Master’s degree in World Cultures & Literature, specializing in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.

I have been tutoring Chinese for more than 10 years, and I also have experience teaching at a university as a Chinese language lecturer for 3 years. My teaching experience covers entry-level to intermediate-level students and spans various age groups, from Pre-K to adults.
