My journey in STEM began with a deep-rooted passion for these subjects, nurtured throughout my academic career. My tutoring career started in high school, where I helped peers and younger students understand complex math and science concepts. This continued in college, where I studied Computer Science and Business, while assisting fellow students with homework and difficult topics.

Over the past five years, I have accumulated over 500 hours of tutoring experience with students of various ages, from elementary school students to college and adult learners. This diverse experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of different learning environments and student needs. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere where students feel confident and motivated to succeed.

I focus on tutoring math, helping students build a foundation and boosting their confidence in problem-solving. My approach is personalized to each student's learning style, using interactive exercises, real-world examples, and technology-based resources to make learning engaging and effective. I emphasize improving students' comprehension and problem-solving skills.

In addition to tutoring, I teach computer science to elementary, middle, and high school students in Prince George's County, Maryland. This past year, I taught over 65 students coding and computer science fundamentals, allowing me to introduce young minds to coding and computational thinking, and preparing them for the future digital world. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning fun and accessible, encouraging curiosity, and fostering a growth mindset.

I have professional experience in project management and software engineering, providing a broader perspective on applying theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. This experience enriches my tutoring sessions, as I offer students insights into real-world applications of the subjects they are learning.
