"Scott has a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Professional teaching teaching with the State of Ohio for grades kindergarten through fifth grade. He has taught all five grade levels. He has volunteered with Cincinnati Children's Drake Center and West Chester Hospital. Outside of school, he maintains a fitness and academic regime, exploring nature via hiking or camping and spending time with family and friends.

Scott has five years of teaching experience at the elementary level. He has worked with individuals with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism and comprehension, phonics, fluency, and vocabulary deficits. He uses Heggerty and HMH which both include explicit and implicit instruction in key areas such as phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency. Young learners who can read and write in cross-curricular subjects are more likely to achieve goals such as meaningful work, understand directions, etc. He enjoys working in small groups and one on one with learners.
