My area of expertise is working with middle school students in the area of Social Studies and Humanities, however I have worked with students of all ages and grade levels. I have worked in all subject matters and have worked with very diverse populations. Many students with learning exceptionalities have found success working with me.

I have been tenured in two districts and licensed in three states (Ohio, North Carolina, and Texas). I am well versed in standardized testing and various curriculums. I have worked as an AVID teacher, and spent 7 years teaching in a a school with both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and A+ Creative Arts magnet programs.
