As an engineer, I tend to want to know how everything functions at its very core. Therefore, giving me a good understanding at what I’m looking at and helping me out in any future endeavors I have with said subject. As a tutor I try my hardest to do the same when tutoring a student. Not only do I want to be able to help with the current problem at hand but also how to approach any future problems students may have further in the semester. Sharing my knowledge in how to obtain knowledge is my main goal.
I always want to be able to take away from a tutoring session as much as the student does. Not everyone learns the same way and I will do my best to adapt my tutoring methods to your suggested learning methods.
