"I am a very successful learner of both English, and Chinese and I am a professional Chinese teacher. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching Chinese in Taiwan, and I have been providing online private lessons for years now. My lessons are highly personalized, mostly communication-centered. I can teach both Simplified and Classical characters and I'm also familiar with the culture. With my almost decade-long experience living, working and studying in Chinese-speaking environments, I am happy to share what I've learned about functioning as a foreigner. I am very passionate about language learning and my goal is to pass this passion on to my students and help them to achieve their goals. Currently I'm a full-time Mandarin teacher at an independent school in Manhattan, but I really enjoy teaching adults, so I take private students as well.
