"Hi there! I am a software engineer working in tech and startup land! Prior to my current career, I taught tennis for nearly 10 years as well as a short stint teaching programming to bootcamp students, so I have plenty of experience teaching. I primarily work with Typescript/Javascript, Node, React, GraphQL and Postgres, and typically deal with the frontend more often at work, but have pushed production code for all parts of the stack. I am also an alumni of UC Berkeley and have a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

I have taught topics to varying ages from grade school to college and above. I try to use lots of analogies to help wrap students' heads around complex topics. Building solid fundamentals is extremely important for future development, so I will make sure students have a strong foundation before skipping further or more deeply into topics.
