"I am a professional yet easy-going 28 years old musician and started teaching when I was 17. Before attending California State University, Long Beach (where I am a Master's student in Jazz Performance), I was part of many honor bands around the San Francisco Bay Area, including the SFJAZZ All-Stars and the Contra Costa County Honor Band. I have played every type of music imaginable in a myriad of venues all across the Bay Area and around the world including the SFJAZZ Center, the Herbst Theatre, and the Pacific Rim Festival. I have played in front of audiences ranging from avid music fans to mayors to CEOs.

If you'd like to learn how to improve your skills on the guitar, be it playing folk music or jazz improvisation, consider taking lessons from me. I have a thorough background in many sorts of music and would love to share some of my knowledge with you.

I have experience teaching students of all ages, including students that have passed the ABRSM and the AP Music Theory tests with high marks. I specialize in jazz guitar but do have extensive experience teaching popular music styles. I focus on musicianship and technical development while making the lessons fun and accessible.
