"Hello! My name is Allan, and math education has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From graduating Clemson with a degree in mathematics to running different businesses, I have always made time to be a math tutor in my spare time. Previously, I have been a math instructor at Pinewood Preparatory School for eight years, with four of those years as the math department chair. I taught a variety of courses, including Pre-Algebra, CP/Honors Algebra I & II, CP/ Honors Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and CP/Honors/AP Statistics. I received my Masters in Applied Statistics in 2013, and moved out of the classroom and into the professional world. I worked as a biostatistician for the Medical University of South Carolina for two years, where I performed a variety of statistical analyses on clinical trial data. I currently work at Clemson University as an Analytics & Assessment Manager for Clemson Online. I also teach two sections of MGT 3100: Intermediate Business Statistics. I continue to have a passion for helping students succeed in their math courses, so I find the time to tutor outside of my daily work schedule.
