"My name is Aislinn (Ash-lyn), and I work as a microbiologist for a privately owned testing company in Massachusetts. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham with my BS in Biomedical Science, with a specialization in Medical Microbiology in 2017. During my time at UNH I served as an undergraduate TA for Introductory and intermediate Microbiology courses, where I helped students understand a little more about the wonderful world of microbes, and how they function.

What helped me most understand and become passionate about microbiology was not just the material, but the handful of wonderful professors and graduate TA's that lived and breathed bacteria (literally!). Without those select individuals I would have never learned just how interesting and exciting microbiology can be. Their passion for the subject ignited my own, and I love nothing more than to share my knowledge with those willing to hear it.
