"Nearly a decade of tutoring, and nearly two decades as a published writer, have firmly established me as a "jack of all trades" writing tutor, and an affordable one at that. While I may not have had any formal training in tutoring or experience teaching, I am an accomplished writer of both fiction and non-fiction, and have a talent for guiding students towards improving their own writing in a manner they can understand and learn for future work, regardless of their age. My former tutees can vouch for my success in this regard.
I offer tutelage on writing essays, reports, short fiction, or any other class assignments that are graded in part by the quality of the writing. I assist with making the prose more detailed and fluent in accordance with the criteria of the assignment, making essays more persuasive and avoiding logical fallacies, fixing grammatical errors, and any other adjustments that improve the assignment in terms of the writing. My clientele has included upper elementary school students, college students, and everyone in between.
If someone seeks impeccable and exhaustive knowledge in a specific field of writing, I would not be of much help to them. Likewise, if a student is already earning B-plus grades or above in their writing assignments and wants to score even higher, it is unlikely I would be able to teach them anything they don't already know.
But if somebody is having trouble with their writing in general, wants to improve their grades from average or below average, or just needs someone to look over their essay and offer constructive criticism, I can almost certainly be of assistance, and at reasonable rates." less...
