"I'm Elijah M. I graduated as one of the top trumpet performers at The New School University with a Jazz Performance/ Audio Engineering degree. In college, I was more of the student who wanted to know more about what I'm doing & how to achieve a problem/similar problem in order to ensure how to handle the situation in the future. I believe that a lot of problems can be handled as long as you have an understanding of the basics. My first question for anyone willing to learn or continuing to learn Trumpet is "What would you like to learn?" for most students I've helped. If my student is new to the instrument I start them with basic fundamentals working our way up unless my student has an understanding of trumpet & would like to polish their craft.

I have about 5 plus years of teaching experience with trumpet & music. I worked directly with students that needed additional assistance with a group of 5-7 students when it came to audio production throughout graduating college. I have also attained trumpet lessons through teaching at a few middle/high schools in Texas as well as a couple around the Brooklyn area. My students learn not only how to produce a clear sound on their horn but are able to perform a multitude of sound, depending on what the student wants to learn. I also help students with solo competitions & musical performances.
