My doctorate is in Systems Engineering from the Case School of Engineering. My specialty is multi-level hierarchical modeling of global systems. I am a guest lecturer for the Global Issues course and mentor masters thesis projects for the Case School of Engineering.

My masters of science is in management science from the Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve University. At Weatherhead, my concentration was operations research and operations management. I have a robust background in linear programming, supply chain, optimization techniques, simulation, modeling, business strategy and technology, probability, statistics, graph theory, game theory, logistics and more. In addition, I tutored students in both operations research and the Executive MBA program.

I received my undergraduate degree in mathematics from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. While at Occidental, I taught Honors Calculus workshops using UC Berkeley's Academic Mastery Program format. The workshops concentrated on group problem solving and verbalization of mathematical ideas and concepts.

I was also an instructor and lecturer for mathematics at Cuyahoga Community College for five years.
