I was a teacher for over 8 years where I taught students of MS and HS grades. I was also a mentor (class leader) for 5 years for HS groups. I stopped being a teacher when I moved to the United States in 2007, there I switcher careers and became focused on a career in software development; first starting in web development, and later moving into full stack engineer. At my previous company I was team lead, and manager of a team of 5 engineers. In the company, Salesloft, where I work now, I am the senior UI Engineer on a team of 15 as I was looking for a job that was more hands on coding.
My specialty in software engineering is in JavaScript, especially React and nodeJS. I have worked intensively with python, java, mongoDB, DynamoDB, MySql, and all web development like HTML5 and CSS3. I have experience with Vue and Angular as well.
I have been a mentor at CareerFoundry for 18 months now where I mentor students one-on-one to achieve their full stack bootcamp that focuses on the MERN stack. I love to mentor students because I like to give back to people who like to change careers." less...
