Professionally, I have been a divisional CEO and CFO of a multi-billion dollar enterprise, as well as owning my own company, in the international metals industry. Recently, I was the CFO of a young Silicon Valley medical technology company.
Currently, I am a Finance Mentor for the American Red Cross, and an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Finance at Keiser University Graduate School of Business, teaching courses in Economics, Advanced Financial Analysis, and International Business.
I have mentored and tutored hundreds of students while teaching at various universities and graduate schools of business. My emphasis on teaching and tutoring is on the building an understanding of the subject matter, utilizing a wide variety of teaching methodologies, depending upon the student's individual learning capability. Most students seem to learn best with a more personalized learning approach.
Educationally, I earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, a M.B.A., with distinction, in Economics from NYU Graduate School of Business, and a Ph.D in Economics from Fordham University in New York City.
