"Hi, I'm Cody! I am a former Accounting professor. I taught Financial and Managerial Accounting courses at Bentley University and University of Maryland. Before that, I was a bank regulator at the FDIC and earned graduate degrees in Accounting (PhD) and Economics (MA) and a Bachelors in Economics and Sociology. In all of my learning, I always enjoyed the classes where the professor seemed to really care.

In my classes and my tutoring sessions, it is my job to care about you, your learning journey, and your learning style (either in person or online). I tailor my teaching to best meet your needs, and I try to keep it as fun as possible along the way. There is never one way to learn something, and sometimes all it takes is a new approach. I like to learn through discovery and recognize that sometimes not knowing something (yet!) is really an opportunity.
