"I'm a retired chemistry teacher from the School District of Philadelphia, recently moved to Northern Vermont.

Teaching is my second career. My first was in chemical engineering. My experience in chemistry and engineering is very broad and practical. I think this tends to simplify the subject for my students. I hold a master's degree in education as well as most of a Ph. D. in educational technology - the use of the internet and computers to make science education more interesting and understandable. It is always a great pleasure for me to help a student through the barriers of study to understanding the exciting and important subjects of science."
