"I am a Johns Hopkins University Masters student and I graduated with two bachelors of science, one for General Biology and one for Global Health from the University of California, San Diego in June of 2022.

I have tutored, both privately paid and volunteer, since high school and throughout my years of tutoring, have taught many age groups. I have worked with K-12 and college students one-on-one, where we create clear goals and a roadmap to track progress. Mostly though, I tutor high school students for test prep, in both ACT and SAT. With my own experiences as a student taking the test, I help identify weaknesses in a student's knowledge and work together with the student to rectify the weaknesses. Each student is an unique individual and I tailor the curriculum to their individuality,

I have also taught in a group setting in college. I was the Teacher's Assistant (TA) for a year in my senior year and I taught both lower and upper division biology classes. In the classroom, I like to utilize the students in group work to further diversify the teaching methods. Outside of the classroom, I was still available to my students through email or one-on-one meetings for more personalized help.
