"I just received my PhD in School Psychology and have spent my college and grad school career tutoring, mentoring, and teaching in psychology and related subjects. I have taught a college-level research methods course and tutored middle school students in English, high school students in Statistics, and college students in psychology, statistics, research methods, and English. I have also enjoyed working as a writing consultant, helping college and high school students to write personal essays, prepare for written exams, and assemble portfolios. When I am not tutoring, I split my time conducting psychology research, working towards licensure as a psychologist, and engaging in creative writing as a hobby.

My experiences with tutoring, mentoring, teaching, and learning as well as my experience in psychology have built in me a passion for helping others. Some of my successes include helping undergraduates complete and publish scientific research studies, aiding college and graduate students in applying to jobs and internships through careful review of application materials, and supported students of all types to understand and complete coursework across a variety of subjects. My personal experience with psychological research and grant writing as well as my practical experiences with psychology services give me valuable expertise across a variety of subjects.

I pride myself on my ability to adapt my teaching style to the needs of my student while keeping the experience as fun as possible. In my sessions, the student is a partner in the process; together we will create a plan to achieve the goals that are important to you at your pace.
