I specialize in English Writing Conventions (APA/MLA formatting, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, organization, CV/Resume Development, Personal Statements) for both native and non-native English speakers, Public Speaking, Persuasive Argument Development and Interpersonal Communication.

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication and a minor in Spanish. I continued my education to earn a postbaccalaureate degree in International Studies and ultimately a Master's Degree in Speech Communication. Throughout college, I learned the value that tutoring provides to students, helping many to succeed and grow in areas that challenge them.

During graduate school, I taught an Argumentation & Critical discourse class to college freshmen. I greatly enjoyed this experience and seeing academic and personal growth from the students I taught. I also had the pleasure of tutoring Graduate International students in English writing conventions. Since graduating, I have taught Speech Communication courses at a local community college while working full-time as an Academic Advisor at a large state university, a position I am currently in. I have experience tutoring high-school aged and adult learners, ranging in age from 18-65.

To say that I value student support and success would be an understatement. I have dedicated my life to leading by example through teaching, tutoring, and advising.
