"After graduating Bethel College with a degree in Communication Arts, I taught high school English, Speech, and Debate at McPherson High School. I was the head coach of a successful speech and debate team that featured multiple state and national qualifiers. After leaving teaching, I worked as a local TV news producer and reporter.

Currently, I work as speech writer for City of Wichita, and I produce content for social media. I also am active in Toastmasters International, where I have won numerous awards and speech competitions. I am an excellent teacher and coach. I have coached youth soccer and track and field.
