A little background about my time as a tutor at San Jose State: I was a statistics tutor for SASS (Student Athlete Success Services), and I tutored student athletes at SJSU one-on-one. Many of the athletes were very busy and had demanding travel and training schedules due to their sports commitments. I helped every one of my students pass their statistics classes when many of them thought they are just terrible at math would for sure fail. I was also a drop-in tutor at the SJSU Math Lab. Students would come by the math lab for help with a variety of more advanced stats classes from Probability Theory, to R, to Mathematical Statistics. The students I have tutored have been a variety of ages from late teens to late 60's, and a variety of skill levels and comfort levels with math and statistics.

Together, we can work on whatever your personal goals are, whether it be mastering the subject, or just simply passing your class. I'm good at finding more than one way to explain something.
