And in May 2009 Goucher College in Baltimore with a Bachelor's degree in Peace Studies (similar to Social Work) and Education. I've taught in three schools in and around Baltimore. I took many English classes and also have extensive experience in writing papers, essays, etc. My Peace Studies major required me to become an expert in crafting arguments, using correct grammar, creating outlines, using MLA or APA formats, and other skills relating to English. I believe that knowing how to write effectively is extremely important to any career.
In high school I took four years of math and in college attended courses through Calculus I, but am most confident in teaching algebra. I will break down each concept and problem into steps to ensure that the student understands all parts. When taught in a logical and clear manner, Math can even be fun.
