"I graduated from Macalester College in May 2024 with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Chinese. For Computer science major, I gained a comprehensive understanding core CS topics including Object Oriented Design, Data Structures, Algorithms, and computer systems. As part of the CS major requirement, I greatly improved my math fluency. I am also of course passionate about Chinese. I completed the highest level of Chinese offered by my college, studied abroad in Taiwan, and completed the Middlebury Language School Chinese program. Lastly, my liberal arts background has taught me to be an effective writer.

I currently work 20 hours a week in the mornings as a 4-8 math tutor at a K-8 school in St. Paul. There, I tutor students in groups of 2, giving them lessons on new topics, give them practice problems, and track their progress. My experience working as a tutor has taught me the interpersonal skills to be a good tutor. I'd like to think that most students like me and are excited to learn with me.
