"As an educator for over 17 years and a mother of a teenager and 2 toddlers I see the value in enjoying every moment as it comes. Because you blink and you’ll miss it! Life can shift so drastically and you can’t get those moments back, so I’ve learned to appreciate every moment. Naturally I have an affinity for children’s literature but writing has always been a passion of mine and has been very therapeutic to me during my life.

Being heavily involved in the arts creates a unique ability in me to paint pictures with words, which I believe is truly a gift. I have published a poetry book and I love spreading this love for writing through poetry and writing workshops in my local community. As you can see I would love to help out a learner with writing because it's my favorite thing ever but I have experience in elementary math through Algebra I.

Upon transitioning out of the role of public school teacher, I have been helping families successfully homeschool their children virtually and in person. I am an educator with over 17 years of experience who is capable of scaffolding learners in unorthodox settings towards greatness & high levels of achievement. In fact, I have homeschooled my own child who has recently transitioned back to public school in all honors and AP courses. As a poet, I have also enjoyed serving as a teaching artist.
