"Hello! I'm a reading comprehension coach located in Detroit, MI passionate about building literacy skills and bringing creativity to my lessons.

The last couple of years have been difficult for us all, but with my help we can make up for lost time with one-on-one guided support in your area of need. Reading comprehension is the key to academic success in every class and can boost confidence, increase our understanding of the world and improve our critical thinking skills. I'm a trained reading coach with 4 years of experience with students both online and in person. I have a fidelity certificate in phonological awareness from Orton-Gillingham, a program which helps meet needs of students that struggle with decoding and fluency. I also have experience in the Montessori method and love to bring elements of play and collaboration to lessons. I've worked with diverse populations from gifted students who need guided exploration of topics to keep them stimulated to students with learning disabilities that need tailored lessons to curb over-stimulation.
