In college I worked in the school's communication and marketing department, writing press releases and magazine articles. I interned for a semester for the Denver Convention and Visitors Bureau in Denver, CO, and helped write marketing materials for various events.
After graduation I continued in the writing field by freelancing for a local newspaper, and later worked in their sales and advertising department.
I have a lot of patience, and I enjoy working with students of all ages - from someone who is just learning to write in elementary, to someone who needs advanced writing experience in college. I have helped people translate their ideas into a successful write-up and have taught how to edit writings for mistakes, whether for a school project, paper, article, or creative writing assignment. Working together includes brainstorming, writing, editing, and creativity.
