"I am an experienced teacher of 10 years and have a lot of multi-level experience including teaching 9-12 grade History & English, 2nd grade, 4th grade regular and Special Education, Gifted and Talented 5th grade students, and 5th grade Spanish Immersion Reading/Writing. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education N-12. I also have earned a Masters Degree in Reading & Literacy-Reading Specialist. So far in my experience, I have worked in 3 different states gaining lots of experience working with different standards and demographics.

My strength as a teacher is making learning fun for students by creating hands-on lessons and connecting content to their real life experiences. This not only motivates students to learn, but it also helps them to retain the information they learn longer. My students show significant growth in their learning at the end of the year not only because they learn content but because they grow to love learning!
