"I have been an elementary school teacher for 30 years. My most recent experience as a literacy teacher has helped students gain the confidence needed to become better readers. By teaching practical strategies and using engaging text, students enjoy reading, and, therefore, make significant reading gains. I can help with homework and long-term projects during the school year, as well as provide coaching for improving reading comprehension. In addition, I am available in the summer to keep skills sharp for the next grade level."
