"I have been a tutor for 5 years working with a wide range of students in different topics (except math). I prefer to work with students in Middle or High School.
In addition to being a tutor, I am also a journalist. I have written for over 35 publications locally and am an editor as well. I focus on writing and reading skills with students. Most older students enjoy working with me because I can relate to them and have an easy going demeanor. I also specialize in writing and reading skills for test prep on ACT and SAT, especially the essay portion.
Besides writing and reading, I also enjoy teaching History, which was my major, and English literature. I am passionate about Shakespeare! For students who have AP History or AP English tests, I am the perfect tutor. I also can teach Spanish. I am comfortable through high school level, but have taught college level as well (up to College Spanish 2).
I have a degree in History and Education.
