"I’m Rebekah! I have an undergrad and a grad degree in music education. I enjoy teaching private lessons for violin, voice, beginner piano, music theory and tutoring in Spanish and English grammar. I have taught for three years ages ranging from elementary through high school. I’ve had the privilege of teaching both in a classroom setting as well as one-on-one.

As a traditional teacher, I start from the basic fundamentals and build up on that knowledge. I love to help students reach their full potential and grow their passion.

While I do use guidance of lesson plans and curriculum, I also aim to go at your pace so as to not overwhelm, but still provide the challenge needed to reach the goal. If there are aspects in the curriculum or methodology that cause confusion or frustration, I turn things around to make sure the lesson becomes an enjoyable resolution, not a defeating experience.
