"Hello, my name is Abigail! I recently graduated from Albright College, receiving my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies. I have been placed on the Dean's List three times through my journey and learned a great amount about different teaching styles and how to approach different types of lessons. I entered college undecided in my major, however, I quickly realized I had a passion for teaching. Growing up with a mother also in childcare, I have been around this environment for as long as I can remember!
I do not have any tutoring experience, however, I have plenty of experience working with children in a classroom setting and believe I could be a great addition to your child's educational journey! During my time in college, I took many classes that required in-class observations in many different schools that included many different types of students. I feel these observations have equipped me to be the best educator I can be. I am currently a student teacher and am gaining hands-on experience in a second-grade classroom about the best way to teach children.
I am currently working toward my teaching certification for Pre-K through 4th grade so anyone in that range would be closer to the age of students I would work best with, however, I'd be more than happy to help the older kiddos as well!" less...
