"Hi my name is Hannah and I am a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in microbiology.

As a student, I was passionate about helping my peers succeed. This led me to finding positions where I could interact and teach others. I was a biology teaching assistant, a chemistry tutor, and a biology peer advisor. From these experiences, I became well equipped to tutor a variety of subjects and developed effective ways of conveying new information to students. I am excited to continue my roll in facilitating an understanding of difficult subjects and a passion for learning in these courses! My favorite subjects to teach include courses such as biology and microbiology and more specific courses also falling within these categories.

Throughout undergrad I also was a part of two labs at my school, our COVID testing lab and flow cytometry facility. These experiences helped me develop a more practical understanding of science which I apply when helping others learn. Not only is it important to learn these difficult subjects, but I believe it is critical that students develop an understanding that they can apply outside of the classroom!
