"Hi, I am Alexis! I'm 20 years old, and a recent graduate from Kean University. Specifically, I received my Bachelor's in English with a minor in History. Starting in the fall, I will be attending the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I will be pursuing a Master's in Literature with a concentration in war and conflict. After completing this degree, I plan to enter a career in higher education.

When I began my Bachelor's, I was fifteen years old and simultaneously attending high school. At the same time, I was a National Honors Society tutor. I tutored for two years, at both the high school and intermediate school levels. My main role was to assist in writing/editing papers (mainly research papers) and help students with navigating MLA citation. However, I am also familiar with APA and Chicago style formatting if you need assistance with either of those.

Qualifications:

-Advanced Proficient on all state (NJ) exams involving reading comprehension or writing

-Received score of 5 (highest score) on Advanced Placement exam for Language and Composition

-Took a semester-long course solely dedicated to grammar
