When I tutor, I believe training your memory is very important. I love to encourage active recall and creating your own questions based on the subject that is being learned. For example, creating a practice exam based on the study material. I have worked with a variety of students who benefited from different studying structures, so I’m very flexible depending on the needs of the student. I also can assist with the building of organization and time management skills.
I primarily have tutored college students, but I’m open to tutoring people of any age. Additionally, I would assist students with SAT prep if wanted.
