"Hello,
My name is Gloria and I have been a Registered Nurse for 5 years. My background is in Emergency Medicine, Procedural Areas (Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy) and I have taught adult learners in Nursing Assistant programs. I also have experience teaching at the preschool level. I am currently a preceptor and educator in my current nursing role. I obtained my Bachelor in Nursing degree at the University of Arizona and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I love teaching and strive to incorporate that into my practice.
Nursing is a new world and a new way of thinking. In most science courses, you will think of your education in terms of right and wrong, black and white. In nursing, however, you will learn to think in the "most right" way. You will have to learn how to recognize all the things you have to do at once and yet, on a test, pick the "most right" answer. For myself, and many of my classmates, this was not a natural way of thinking and has to be learned. There are plenty of ways to begin to incorporate this view into your life and ways to help in the learning. Nursing school isn't easy; I wrote a 40 page care plan in 2 days once. It will be challenging and it's important to have the right support in getting through.
While Nursing is a primary scope of mine, I have strong background in research, APA, analysis and creative writing. I have always done well in this area and have worked as a content writer for a web design agency. I have additionally assisted individuals with other primary languages in editing, proof-reading and writing professional English documents.
Whether you are looking for assistance in English, Writing, or in Nursing - we can take the time to go through new learning techniques, have discussions, and really get into the core of what you need to know. We can go over what works, what doesn't... and work on ways to learn what works best for you.
I look forward to working with you,
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Gloria
