"Hello! My name is Kristen! I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Criminology and a Spanish Certificate. I truly love working with children in academic capacities, helping to show them how fun learning can be!
I specialize in elementary and secondary tutoring in all subjects; math, science, social studies and especially English/language arts. Additionally, I know that higher math can be scary, but I am confident in my ability to assess whatever challenges your student may be having and provide a concrete solution. One of the most important exams a Junior or Senior will take is the SAT or ACT and I can work one on one with your student to boos their score significantly, helping them to focus on strategies to succeed on the sections that generally trouble them. I think because of my age and experience, I relate well to children of all ages, whether its a second grader struggling with subtraction or an 11th grader having difficulty with Algebra 2.
