Why do I consider myself qualified to give advice on these topics? I have tutored in STEM for over 10 years and was an award-winning teaching assistant. I entered medical school after working in an entirely different career (meteorology). While in medical school, I started and completed two other graduate degrees and still managed to graduate in 4 years, matching into diagnostic radiology (a highly competitive specialty). I have a highly academic background and have earned 6 degrees: 2 doctorates (doctorate of medicine and doctorate in healthcare administration), 3 master’s degrees (business admin, healthcare admin, and meteorology), and 1 bachelor’s (physics). I have a family and had my first 2 children during medical school.
