"I am a retired college professor with 35 years training general and special education teachers. I am familiar with a variety of instructional methods, learning strategies, and learning theories. My instruction is based upon the academic needs of each student with specialized strategies to move each student forward. Throughout my career I have taught courses in instructional approaches, learning strategies, assessment and more.

I also have experience with the implementation of common core standards. My instruction will address these standards, especially for students in elementary school. With a review of the common core standards I can quickly determine the gaps in a student's learning and acquisition of needed skills.
