"I was born in Boston and lived in Israel for 8 years. I was a medic in the Israeli army. I have taught in both English and Hebrew. I taught computer science at Purdue and worked with the navy to model aircraft imaging. Before retiring to New Mexico, I taught for 20 years in Seattle.

I really enjoy teaching and I've practiced online with my grandchildren a lot. I'm also doing Remote Teaching while we are going through social separation.

I was inspired by a math teacher. I graduated from both college and graduate school with honors in mathematics. I've always enjoyed solving math problems in the same way I thrill at solving crime shows on TV. Also, I've made enough mistakes to be able to predict how a student might wrongfully perceive a problem.
