In my teaching, I utilize several specialized learning strategies designed to meet the needs of struggling students. My extensive training includes F.A.S.T. Reading, Orton-Gillingham, The Sonday System, Project Read, Phonetics First, Everyday Math, Guided Math groups, and English As A Second Language. My primary focus for reading instruction has been on systematic multi-sensory phonetic instruction. My training in Project Read has been in all reading strands, including phonetics, linguistics, and reading comprehension: story form, report form, and written expression.
